Magyar Telekom
Magyar Telekom planned to implement public cloud informatics and hybrid architecture to solve its VMware-based private cloud.
The challenge
It was the Magyar Telekom who planned to develop the operation of its classic on-premise infrastructure with scalable capabilities in a flexible, secure and cost-effective manner. It wanted to supplement its VMware-based private cloud solution with public cloud computing by creating a hybrid architecture. In addition to developing cloud competencies, it planned to validate a hybrid cloud operating model. To implement the solution, it requested professional services from TC2 for network, security, and container platform-level integration of on premise and AWS systems.
The solution
TC2 created and documented a Kubernetes solution for a hybrid operation between on premise and AWS during interactive design and delivery workshops. As part of the solution, one can be free to choose where to run the application between the two physical sites on the hybrid platform, AWS and on premise, which can increase security, cost-effectiveness, and operational robustness.
