The challenge

ATV is the leading news television station in Hungary in terms of audience.

Viewers can follow ATV also online via the atv.hu news portal and watch a video archive of the channel’s most important programs going back a year.

The atv.hu news portal attracts an average of 100,000 unique visitors a day with its daily news, videos, and pictures. It is available on mobile and tablet devices, and most smart TVs can also be used to view news and images, videos, and online broadcasts.

The solution

The portal is built on AWS platform. Therefore, ATV asked TC2 to run the portal assessment according to best practices. TC2 performed the task using the Well-Architected Framework methodology, summarized the problems discovered, and made suggestions on how to fix these problems.
